Okada/Keke Ban

The OKADA/KEKE BAN and ingenuity of our Leaders.

Where are the Uber boats?

The ban on Motorcycle ( Okada ) and Tricycle ( Keke ) has raised several dust and several commentator's, especially 'Social Media Tigers' are dissecting the news as usual, unfortunately, most of them are 'products' of partisan traders, street traders etc, the ban has again displayed that most of those that lead us UNDERSTAND NOTHING about the terrain they are leading.

As a young boy,
I didn't witness the chaotic situation of Okada and Keke on our roads, it was simply
Cars ( Kabukabu)
Danfo/buses
911 AKA Molue
The Government fail to build infrastructures inline with out growth, but keep getting tax anyways, the Government fail to provide alternative and efficient transport system, the population keep growing and we had almost same infrastructure, the Okada and Keke menace was a creation of ineptitude Government whose only aim in Government was to use the position to loot for their generations unborn.

It is almost impossible in some parts of Lagos not to commute without Okada or Keke,

A visit to Apapa/Festac/Badagry will suprise you,

I don't think there's anyone in his right sense will jump on Okada or Keke on the highway if traffic situation is properly controlled, if you can get to your destination without fear of 'unforseen circumstances' on the road, or proper rail system that is timely and efficient,

If you've tried the BRT Stands and see massive queue and turnaround time to get buses to convey you to your destination which can't be predicted anyways, I have stayed on queue for 1hour, 2hours and more trying to get a bus, those were the loopholes that created the menace we still don't know how to curtail
